Former Trouble Vocalist Eric Wagner Dead at 62

News just broke that original Trouble vocalist Eric Wagner has passed away at the age of 62 due to COVID-related complications. Eric made his name fronting the influential Chicago doom act Trouble in the 80s and he was instrumental in making releases like Psalm 9, Trouble, and Manic Frustration truly timeless pieces of doom craft.

After leaving the band in 2008, Eric formed The Skull and continued creating music in the vein of early Trouble on albums like For Those That are Asleep and The Endless Road Turns Dark.

The staff of AMG extend their heartfelt condolences to Eric’s friends and family. His one-of-a-kind voice will be sorely missed but his music will live on forever.
