Tragic news broke last night as longtime Metal Church singer Mike Howe was reported dead at the age of 55. Howe got his start fronting Los Angeles act Heretic before joining Metal Church for their 1988 Blessing in Disguise album. He went on to record two additional albums with them before leaving in 1995. Howe would eventually return for the band’s 2016 XI album and the follow-up, 2018s Damned if You Do.
