Infamously cash-grabby Finnish sympho-death maestros Wintersun reportedly plan to push back the release of their long-awaited Time II album until 2030 and possibly later. Sources report this is largely due to the band not having started work on the album yet despite shockingly aggressive marketing and promotional efforts along with borderline extortionary pre-order demands directed at fans.
When reached at his fan-funded luxury sauna/studio/micro-hotel, founder Jari Mäenpää was unwilling to comment on these reports save for a terse warning that fans best get pre-orders in soon “if they know what’s good for them.”
