Join us as Steel Druhm takes a short break from power metal to review some crappy power metal with classic metal leanings. Bloodbound is free falling into the abyss of mediocrity and In the Name of Metal is just going to speed the journey to metal’s nether regions.

Zombified – Carnage Slaughter and Death Review
If one thing has become clear lately, its that Madam X loves zombies, gore, death and dark stuff. Since Zombified is all about these things, who can be surprised she loves their Grave worshipping brand of nasty death metal.
Kolp – The Outside Review
Hungary has a booming black metal scene and Kolp is a part of it. Madam X thinks they’re the sleep inducing part. Apparently they also steal riffs from themselves. What’s up with that?? Kids today…
Monolithe – Monolithe III Review
Long lost scribe, Noctus makes a big return with a review of the new Monolithe opus. He seems quite sure their unique style of spacey funeral doom with beautiful melodies makes this a major contender for album of the year. Welcome the prodigal son back and read this here review!
Orden Ogan – To the End Review
Who doesn’t like Blind Guardian and Rage? Orden Ogan sure as hell does, as their new opus ably demonstrates. Its rich, creamy German power metal all day long on To the End and there are enough layered vocal harmonies here to choke a white whale! That means there are lots!
Seven Kingdoms – The Fire is Mine Review
Through hellstorms, hail and snow, Steel Druhm keeps delivering the power metal like a creepy, metal-obsessed mailman in full battle armor. Today’s package includes the classic power stylings from Seven Kingdoms. If you like the super catchy Hammerfall and Gamma Ray sound, this will blow your mind as it did Mr. Steel’s. It seems there’s no end to the power metal destruction he plans to unleash on these here pages in the coming weeks, so batten down the hatches and prepare accordingly.
Neurosis – Honor Found In Decay Review
Neurosis has been called many things over their storied career, from sludge to shoegaze to post-rock. Alex is here to examine these labels as he reviews Honor Found in Decay. He’s a deep thinker, that Alex.
Rebellion – Arminus: Furor Teutonicus Review
More power metal reviews by Steel Druhm? When is enough really enough? Rebellion rocks the classic Grave Digger style of Germanic power metal and with several ex Digger members onboard, they usually get it right. This time though? Tricky question.
Melencolia Estatica – Hel Review
Madam X is a dedicated reviewer. In preparation for her thoughtful analysis of Melencolia Estatica’s black metal concept album Hel, she watched the really really old movie that provided the source material, then she did some deep thinking about the music itself. In contrast, Steel Druhm posted sexy pics of the female band member. He’s a slacker pig.
Paragon – Force of Destruction Review
Steel Druhm heard the cries for more power metal and now he’s running amok with power reviews! This time its Germany’s long toiling speedsters, Paragon. They put the “power” in power metal and Mr. Steel surely appreciates that since there’s quite a power shortage in his neck of the woods.
